Yesh Pavlik Slenk is the Senior Director of Global Climate Corps®  where she leads strategy, operations, and a growing network of 4,000+ climate professionals worldwide. Climate Corps, an innovative fellowship program, embeds top graduate students into companies, cities, and nonprofits to advance climate solutions in the United States, India and China. Fellows have helped identify $1.6 billion in energy savings, cutting emissions by the equivalent of 2.2 million metric tons of CO₂. 

Yesh also hosts the podcast, Degrees: Real talk about planet-saving careers. The podcast features up-close conversations with CEOs, sustainability experts, innovators and career changers who are turning climate awareness into action. The diverse array of guests share their inspiring journey to environmental jobs, and how listeners can follow in their footsteps to get paid to help save the planet.

Background

Yesh has worked at EDF since 2013. Prior to joining Climate Corps in 2015, Yesh served on EDF’s Development Events team supporting events and meetings related to EDFs donors and board of trustees. She has spent her entire career serving mission driven organizations including in the arts, outdoor education and microfinance sectors.
