Building a vibrant culture for all staff
Why an effective organizational culture matters: We know that tackling the world’s biggest environmental challenges requires a staff that has a range of experiences, backgrounds, ideas and insights. To build more effective solutions, we must ensure that all staff from all backgrounds have the opportunity to advance and thrive.
Our approach: EDF is committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels like they belong. We strive to better understand, cultivate and support a variety of perspectives and experiences in our community. By creating a globally inclusive culture, we are building an organization that supports all staff from around the world.
Supporting community at EDF
All EDF employees are responsible for fostering an atmosphere where everyone’s contributions are encouraged and valued.
The Organizational Effectiveness and Culture Council, formed by staff volunteers from across the organization, promotes an equitable global culture and helps us be accountable in this work.

Staff community groups
We’re committed to developing a culture of inclusion.
We host nine employee resource groups — with more than 413 participants — that build community and provide developmental opportunities for all employees who want to participate.
