Description
As part of the Zero-Emission Truck Initiative team, Marissa performs research and analysis that supports EDF's Zero-Emission Fleet strategy. This includes running analytical tools to support fleet engagement, preparing quantitative and qualitative materials to support industry engagement and tracking progress and outcomes from industry engagement, as well as movement in the medium- and heavy-duty electric vehicle market. Additionally, she advises on and assists with the creation of additional fleet-focused materials and manage EDF’s fleet deployment and commitment database and generate statistics for state and federal talking points to help move fleets towards electrification.
Background
Marissa is an environmental professional and North Carolina State University graduate located in Raleigh, North Carolina. Currently, she is working towards zero-emissions goals by facilitating major fleet operators, manufacturers and other key industry stakeholders to accelerate the deployment of zero-emission trucks and buses.
Additional experience in government and nonprofits includes project management, data analysis and research development related to the waste management industry across North America, with a focus on equipment. Technical skills include water and soil quality field knowledge related to both of her educational and professional endeavors.
