Kate is a Senior Manager with the State Climate team where she leads EDF’s work to advance climate policies in New York and other northeast states. In this role, Kate focuses on securing and implementing climate policies that will rapidly cut greenhouse gas emissions and deliver air quality and other benefits to communities.

Background

Prior to joining EDF, Kate held various roles with The Nature Conservancy’s U.S. state, federal, and global climate programs where she worked to advance science-based policy and managed cross-functional teams and strategies. She last held the role of Deputy Director for Climate Mitigation with TNC’s New York division and, prior to that, worked with TNC’s federal team to build private sector support for national climate policies. Kate previously worked on federal environmental cleanup and energy issues with the consulting firm THG Advisors.
