EDF statement from Rory Christian, Director, New York Clean Energy
(NEW YORK – June 25, 2015) Governor Cuomo today released the 2015 New York State Energy Plan, a roadmap for its Reforming the Energy Vision initiative. This historical reform engages the private sector to provide clean energy solutions for communities and customers.
“New York’s ambitious target of reducing carbon emissions by 40 percent by 2030 shows how serious the state’s leadership is about addressing the threats of climate change. New York is setting a bold example for other states to follow by harnessing the power of market innovation to pave the way to a 21st-century energy future.”
