Keystone Pipeline Veto a Step toward a Clean Energy Future -- EDF
“Thanks to President Obama for vetoing the misguided Keystone pipeline bill, which was designed to carry highly-polluting, climate-changing oil from Canada to overseas markets.
“Building this pipeline would be a step in the wrong direction on energy. Instead, we need to focus on building a better energy future for America, one that accelerates our transition to clean energy and addresses the looming threat of climate change.
“This veto is not the end of the story. We urge the President to continue standing against this project while moving the country toward a safer, healthier clean energy future.”
