Description
Tsion leads the implementation of advocacy strategies that support EDF Texas’ programmatic goals. She collaborates with lawmakers and various stakeholders (agencies, different environmental organizations) to advance EDF's priorities and enhance policy engagement.
Background
Before joining EDF, Tsion worked in a state legislators office at the Texas Capitol on various issues from education to criminal justice and pensions. She then moved on to working closely with local and statewide elected officials, supporting their campaigns and leading GOTV efforts in Austin. In addition to her work at EDF, Tsion currently serves on two boards, where she focuses on engaging youth and Black and Brown voters and ensuring that climate remains at the top of the ballot.
