Dennis works on marine conservation and sustainable fisheries in Indonesia and collaborates with local stakeholders to design and implement inclusive, participatory and science based sustainable fisheries management. He has extensive experience in coral reef conservation, with a particular emphasis on coral reef rehabilitation, marine surveillance, education for local communities and multi stakeholder engagement.
Background
Dennis obtained his Bachelor Degree in the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, Soedirman University, Indonesia. With extensive experience in community-based conservation, Dennis has worked on coral reef and sea turtle rehabilitation projects in Indonesia. He has led ranger patrols, coordinated training programs, and conducted marine biology research. Skilled in biophysics data collection, drone operation, and underwater photography.
