Description
Carlito supports the Fishery Solutions Center’s ambitious training and capacity building programs. Through developing tools and designing training materials and resources, Carlito empowers fishery stakeholders to diagnose fishery challenges and develop lasting solutions resulting in sustainable use of marine resources.
Background
Prior to joining EDF in 2016, Carlito worked as a consultant at various non-profit and governmental partners. Carlito holds a B.A. in Sociology from UC Santa Cruz, a Master of Arts in International Affairs from American University in Washington, D.C., and a Master of Arts in Natural Resources and Sustainable Development from la Universidad para la Paz in Costa Rica.
