Description
As a federal energy attorney, Adam is focused on the legal and regulatory pathways that can help to expedite the clean energy transition and reduce energy burdens on communities. Adam advocates for a holistic energy system planning that results in resilient, reliable, and affordable electricity, and for market designs and rules that encourage the development and use of clean energy resources, and accurately account for the environmental and community impacts of the development and operation of natural gas infrastructure. Adam regularly represents EDF in matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, as well as in engagement with the Department of Energy.
Background
Prior to joining EDF, Adam externed with Earthjustice’s Coal Program, working on issues at the cross-section of environmental health and climate change. He also served as a summer law clerk with both the Center for International Environmental Law and the Orange County Coastkeeper.
Adam is also an award-winning documentary filmmaker. He has spent over a decade working in the entertainment and media industry. He is a member of the California Bar and is admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
